Strategy & Creative Direction

Know what to make and where to run it before you spend a dollar.

We plan your audience, channels, story and tracking up front, so the film and the media budget both have a clear job.

Strategy first. Creative second. Media third.

Most wasted ad spend is decided before launch.

When a video is made before anyone decides who it’s for, or the media plan is built around whatever footage already exists, money leaks at every step.

This phase fixes that. Before anything is filmed or bought, we answer the questions that decide whether a campaign works: who buys, where they pay attention, what they need to hear and how we’ll know it worked.

Strategy

Who buys, where they look and what they need to hear.

Creative

A film brief built from the plan, not the other way round.

Media

A channel mix chosen for your buyer and tracked from day one.

The process

Four questions we answer first.

Each answer becomes part of the written plan you review and sign off on.

Who buys

Market & Buyer Research

We look at your market, your competitors and how your best customers actually behave: what they watch, where they travel, how long they take to decide and what makes them choose. The result is a clear picture of the buyer every other decision is built around.

Where they pay attention

Channel Selection

Streaming TV, digital billboards, web display, search and paid social can all work, but rarely all at once on the same budget. We choose the channels with the clearest path to your buyer, recommend how to split the budget and explain why each one made the plan. If a channel is popular but wrong for you, we leave it out.

What they need to hear

Story & Messaging

Your customers should hear the same story whether they see you on Crave, on a mall screen or in a search result. We write that core message, the key lines and the tone before filming starts, so the shoot captures what every channel needs and nothing gets patched together later.

How we'll know it worked

Tracking Setup

Conversion tracking, attribution and, where it applies, store-visit measurement are set up before launch, not after. From day one, every dollar you spend is tied to a result, and your monthly report shows what each channel brought in.

Where it leads

The plan behind every screen.

Strategy & Creative Direction is where every Omnivue project begins. The plan it produces guides what we make, where we run it and how we prove it worked.

01

We Make It

The plan becomes the film brief: the story, the scenes and every format the shoot needs to deliver.

02

We Run It

The approved channel mix becomes the media buy across streaming TV, billboards, web and social.

03

We Prove It

The tracking set up here feeds your monthly report on leads, sales and cost per customer.

Deliverables

What you get at the end of this phase.

Four documents that turn a good idea into a campaign you can approve, fund and measure.

Written Campaign Plan

One document covering audience, channels, budget, creative and measurement. You review it and sign off before anything is produced.

Channel & Budget Mix

A recommended split across streaming TV, billboards, display, search and social, with the reasoning behind each choice.

Creative Brief

The core story, key messages and shot list your brand film is built from, including the cut-downs each channel needs.

Tracking Plan

The conversions, attribution and reports set up before launch, so results are measured from the first day.

Nothing is filmed or bought until you've signed off on the plan.

“If a channel is popular but wrong for you, we leave it out.”

FAQ

Questions before you start.

Anything else, ask us on a strategy call. We’ll answer it before you commit to anything.

Which channels do you plan across?

Streaming TV, digital billboards, web display, search and paid social. The plan only includes the ones with a clear path to your buyer, and we explain why each one made the cut.

We review it against the plan. If it fits the audience and the channels, we use it. If it doesn’t, we show you what’s missing before you spend money running it.

Before launch. Conversion tracking, attribution and, where it applies, store-visit measurement are in place from day one, so your first report already shows what each channel brought in.

Whatever you already have: past campaign results, sales data, your customer list if you keep one, and any brand material. The more we can see, the sharper the plan.

Yes. You review the written campaign plan and sign off on it before anything is filmed or bought.
